This shool year is going to be another great year that the York Region Athletic Association will be offering student-athletes in York Region secondary schools opportunities to enhance their “education through sport”. These opportunities for students would not be possible without the efforts of the individual teacher-coaches, sport convenors, school athletic designates and YRAA executive committee, all of whom volunteer their time to make school sport possible. YRAA members strive to provide a high standard of competition, maximize participation in athletics, promote a closer relationship between our member schools and to encourage fair play, good sportsmanship and a spirit of good fellowship.
